Hello, Family and Friends!
Welcome to the Paris Adventure 2018 blog! Our plan this year is for a 6-week trip with Shorty, our little motorhome, to the states of Washington and Oregon, and of course, all those in between. We'll be trailering our Can-Am Spyder behind us to use for day trips and back road exploring. Since we've spent little to no time in the Pacific Northwest, we're very excited to see it, and learn about the area. We're keeping an eye on the terrible wildfires in northern California (and elsewhere) and pray for the brave firefighters and those in harm's way...
Come along with us, kick back and relax. We're going to aim for about 300 miles a day, wanting to enjoy the journey as much as the destination. I'll write when I can and try not to blabber on too much. I will be posting on Facebook but for those of you who want to just catch up now and then, the blog can be found at:

As for today, we left home this morning at about 8:45. We've been packing for several days now and it felt good to finally go! Our goal was to cross the state of Wisconsin and stay somewhere just east of Minneapolis/St. Paul. To that end, we are in a campground called Willow River State Park just north of Hudson. It's quiet, in the middle of nature and all we need for tonight. 304 miles under our belt today with temperatures ranging from 86° to around 90° most of the day. Plenty warm for me as you well know. Haha.
Thank you for joining us on our trip. We always love your comments so feel free to chime in anytime.
Happy Trails... 🎵
